Le Sigh
Late Tuesday, when we were putting the boots to the Mariners, I thought to myself "Wow, Seattle is kinda bad."
And then we lost the next two, including one where the Cyborg was on the hill. Yeah. 11 hits was kind of insane for Doc. Maybe he was trying to seem less tasty to other teams in "I may seem good, but I just gave up 11 hits to one of the worst offensive teams around" kind of way.
Apologies for the lack of posting. Late games mean less watching.
This makes me not want to buy a cellphone ever again. And also cry a little. The mantra for Toronto sports teams seems to be "Not so sucky, so empty seats but no so good we spend money." The illusion of competitiveness is key.
And WTF, Sportsnet the other day using Scott Rolen as a news source on a Doc trade. That's some quality, quality journalism.
