My God, that was a bullshit series. 2 1-run losses and a blow out with the ace on the mound. Against the Red Sox. Featuring some very bullshit umpiring. And a Red Sox fan via Twitter explaining to me that Buckholz is "commanding" the strike zone, while Romero is not. And that "dems the breaks". Yeah, dems are the breaks. Dems are ALWAYS the breaks at Fenway. And it's very easy to command the strike zone if the ump is calling six inches off the plate and you are God's gift to pitching just because you pitch for Boston. And like I need that explained to me by someone over Twitter.
Are they testing us? I think if I were a Red Sox fan, I'd be in prison. I feel very aggressive watching that team. Papelbon's cat ass face/fist pumps. Knowing JD Drew is hitting the shit out of the baseball, but has a dick face. Youkelis taking 75 practice swings during his at bat, and then sticking his ass out and standing on the plate, and then acting outraged when things are called strikes. And Pedroia...well, all of Pedroia makes me feel violent.
And because he took offence...but he shouldn't have because there are only 140 characters allowed in a Tweet, and his comment summed up perfectly what I felt.
