The 2010 Bad (In no particular order)

Funner

This sort of pisses me off. I'm happy Doc is so happy to be in the playoffs, happy that he pitched his perfect game. But if I have to hear one more American writer talk like Halladay was in the minor leagues for the last 8 years and now this is the real deal for him. Dude owned in the AL East. Have a little respect. Also, to the young Blue Jays pitchers, with all these little side comments about how hard it was to pitch under Roy Halladay's shadow. I'm sure it is, but honestly, if you can't pitch with the best, that is your problem, not his. I might have more sympathy for them if AJ Burnett hadn't come out and talked about how much he learned from Halladay. If that cheese doodle can do it and live to tell the tale, anyone can. Also, I'm glad the Philly road trip was fun, but that whole G8 nonsense and losing home games and the lack of opportunity to welcome Doc at the Rogers Centre was stupid.

Oh, and in case anyone was wondering, the Reds are my NL team.

Damien Cox and 50 Homers in the post- Mitchell age

I feel bad for Bautista because his remarkable achievement gets questioned by douche bags that write for the Toronto Star. If you need to get fired up about something, go read Cox's Twitter feed. It might be a fun game to try to get blocked.

Keith Law said it best on the FAN 590:

"This is the thing that I keep coming back to: you don’t have to wonder, in fact, you probably shouldn’t wonder, because we do not know that steroids take you from a 15 home run a year guy to a 40 home run a year guy. In fact, they almost certainly do not, because we’ve seen long lists of guys who’ve failed tests who were not 40 home run a year guys, who did not suddenly go from, essentially extra guys on big league rosters, which is what Bautista was, to a guy who, at least for one year, is—I don’t know—one of the ten most valuable hitters in the American League? I don’t think that’s a stretch to say that that’s where he is right now. There’s no drug in the world that’s going to do that—or, at least, if there is, nobody’s found it yet. So, to me, I just find the speculation to be completely inappropriate—because, again, the science doesn’t support it, and the statistics we have do not support it. So, why are we going there, except to create controversy?"

Word.

Aaron Hill

This dude is a good ball player. He may never have another offensive season like he had in 2009, but he sure as hell is better than this. The sooner he forgets 2010, the better.

The Month of June

The effin' June swoon really needs to end. Going 9-17 in the month of June and getting killed by the NL is what has prevented this team from playing in the post season. And that kind of month can't happen in the AL East. The other teams will not let you recover from it.

The Boston Red Sox

They are ugly, boring, annoying. Their fans are entitled, moronic and kind of racist. Stop losing to them. Just stop. Plus, visiting SOSH on the days the Jays beat the Sox is really just too much fun.
