2017 Baseball Prediction: The Floggings will Continue Until Morale Improves

A few bold predictions: 

All of your favourite players will disappoint you but you'll love them anyway. Maybe begrudgingly, but you will love them. Because they play baseball and you are baseball's whore.

You'll be convinced that all the broadcasters, various writers and bloggers, the umpires, even MLB itself hates your team and is actively working against it. They hate your team. You know they do. But you'll keep watching. 

More than once you'll question your team's front office, wonder why they make the decisions they make, wonder why they are still employed and question whether they want to actually win or they just want to fail. But you'll keep watching. 

More than once you'll wonder why you watch this stupid fucking game but then you'll come around a realize that of course you are going to keep watching it. It's perfect. What else are you going to do? Go for a walk? Spend time with your families? Write a novel? Raise your children?
