Whole New Levels of Suck

Well, that game last night blew. It blew hard. It blew long (very long, anyone else notice how long that game was?) Carlos Pena's bomb (the first one, that is) still hasn't landed.

And the night before, it sucked. I mean, Doc was on the mound. The Ace of all Aces. The Jays scored lots of runs. Lots meaning 7. Rod the Bod Barajas hit a flippin' grand slam, for BJ Birdie's sake. And our boy Roy couldn't keep it together.

So now the boys seem able to hit, but the pitching has gone on vacation. Lind, Hill, Snider and Ruiz are still fun.

As an aside, I kind of like Tampa. They are a fun team to watch, to hope for. And listening to Rod Black blow smoke up Tampa's ass is a hell of a lot more tolerable than him musing about the infallibility of the Boston Red Sox. Speaking of which, Boston picked up Billy Wagner from waivers from the Mets, despite the press whining done by Papelbon. Maybe there will be a hair pulling fight in the pen. So there are still things to look forward to.
