No, I am not going to remove that link from the margin of my blog. Why? Because we should all always vote Lind. He is the wave of the future.
The Tao put out his list of playoff favs. And it is very close to mine. We most likely agree because it doesn't involved a certain former GM.
Mine is as such
1.Dodgers-O-Dog, Martin, Torre, Kemp and that other guy. You know, with the hair. He hits homeruns sometimes.
2.Twins. God bless Minnesota. It's almost Canada. This team played a game on Tuesday that will probably be the best game played in the postseason. It will probably be the best game any of us will see for a good, long while.
3. TIE Angels, Cardinals, Rockies. Eh. Pujols is good. Vlad is good. Carpenter is fun to bring up just to bug pro-JP people. These are nice, comfy teams that are fine to cheer for. I just don't feel anything either way.
4. Phillies- 1993. You just can't. Although, if it's a choice between Phillies and the teams at the bottom, GO PHILLY GO. And also, Cole Hamels had to leave the game early to be with his wife who had a baby. I can't get behind a team that consists of families who don't plan their procreation around October baseball.
5. Yankees- The arrogance of these fans is really something else. "Just give us the trophy now."
Very arrogant considering they have AJ. And Joba. Aw fuck, they'll probably win it anyway. I hope AJ chokes on a whip cream pie.
