"We got a little break."

It was last night, but I'm still irritated. Why do these calls never seem to go against the Yankees? Why does Phill Cuzzi still have a job, let alone a job in the playoffs? If I have to hear Joe Girardi talk about how that's just sometimes the way it goes, my head is going to explode.
Just admit that it was a blown call, and the Yankees got a big break. Because no matter what, a lead off double is always more advantageous than a lead off single.

"There's a guy sitting over there in the umpires' dressing room right now that feels horrible." Oh yeah, I'm sure he's crying. Where was he looking? He is 20 feet from the play. And it was well fair. There was no poof of chalk.

At least there is a Sox loss to soothe the soul.
