Game Plan
This is going to be short.
I'm thrilled Ryan Goins had a bounce back game after the brouhaha of the missed catch in Game 2.
(Also, parka shopping cures many things.)
The highlights are beautiful. Harold Reynolds said really nice things about him all game, it's just a shame I muted the broadcast in the 2nd.

Troy Tulowitzki is obviously playing with some pain, so watching him hit a three run homer was great. It also explains why he was so salty with John Hirschbeck behind the plate. Yes, Tulo shouldn't be arguing balls and strikes, but why was Hirschbeck staring at him and tossing him from 90 feet away? If Tulo is running his mouth, turn away. De-escalate. And then also getting into with Russell Martin when Martin is crouched behind the plate. That was pretty disturbing, actually.
Playing three games against this Kansas City Royals team has shown me a few things.
The Jays are the better team, I think, but Kansas City has played better defence and is a hell of a lot more annoying.
They don't give in and they don't give up. They will be relentless until the 27th out.
My game plan? Bludgeon these zombies until they don't get up anymore. When a lead is taken, tighten up the defence and don't blink again until the Royals are out of outs.
It's not going to be pretty. It's not going to be particularly fun. This is a war.
Beat them down until they can no longer get up.
